Declaration of Faith
Amazing Grace of Christ is a non-sectarian, non-compromising, full gospel church. We believe in the Bible and that every word written in it is true and inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Our beliefs about God and salvation:
We believe in the Holy Trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and that they are one (1 John 5:7)
We believe that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we can live (John 3:16). That He is the only way to the Father and to have eternal life (John 14:6). And that is no other name under heaven that can save us (Acts 4:12).
We believe that we receive salvation by believing and confessing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9), repenting from our sins and being baptized in water and recieving the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). We also believe that we need to keep our faith and endure to the end (Mark 13:13).
Our Missions:
We belive that as disciples of Jesus we are called to reach out and make disciples of all nations. To baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12, Acts 2:38 and 10:48). We don’t believe that Christians are called to baptize babies. Instead baptism is a choice that each believer has to make. But if any parents want to dedicate their child to God, we will help with the child dedication and also support the parents to raise the child in a christian way if the want to. We believe that children are really important and that as Christians we need to put much more love and focus on the them (Proverbs 22:6).
We believe in discipleship training. To use the gifts and the knowledge that we have to train and equip members for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).
We believe that each member in the body of Christ should have a function and that it is important to help every believer to grow spiritually. To share words or revelations from God, to preach, to sing, to evangelize, to intercede and to practise other spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 14:26).
We believe that we are called to set people free from the bondage of the enemy and that we have authority in the name of Jesus to heal the sick and to cast out demons (Matthew 10:8).
We believe in helping, loving and caring for those who are poor and for those who are in need (Deuteronomy 15:11).
Our vision:
Our vision is to see the Body of Christ united. We believe that all true believers in Christ are our Brothers and Sisters, that together we are one body (John 17:20-23). Therefore we don’t focus on the name of our church; we only focus on the name of Jesus. We also believe that the way to unite is not only by praying for unity between the Churches, but also by Churches taking the step to fellowship, to share love, to pray and to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together (Psalm 133:1).
